What is Allergan Botox?

Allergan's botulinum toxin (Botox Vista®) is a botulinum toxin preparation developed by the American company Allergan. It is widely used in aesthetic medicine to soften expression lines on the forehead, between the brows and at the corners of the eyes, to improve a square jaw and to slim the face. Manufactured to strict quality and safety standards, it is a botulinum toxin preparation with a long record worldwide.

Recommended for

  • You want to get rid of lines between the brows, on the forehead and at the outer corners of the eyes

  • Those bothered by a square jaw or tight shoulders

  • You want to lift the corners of your mouth

Treatment time

The treatment takes about 10 to 20 minutes.

Anaesthetic Generally not used.
Swelling and scarring From immediately after the injection to a few days later, the fluid and the needle can cause mild swelling and redness at the injection site, and there is a risk of bruising.
Side effects and risks Pain, swelling, bruising and redness at the injection site, fatigue, stiffness of expression, muscle weakness and similar
How often We recommend repeating the treatment every three to four months.
Make-up You can wear make-up from the day of treatment.
Washing your face / showering / bathing Botulax is sensitive to heat, so avoid long baths and strenuous exercise on the day.
  • Allergic reactions to Botox preparations are rare and seldom serious. They are usually mild - swelling, a rash or itching - and in most cases settle within a few days to about a month.
    There is also the possibility of a metal allergy to the needle used, so if you are prone to allergies or have had an allergic reaction before, consult the doctor beforehand.
