What is HydraFacial?

A peel treatment carried out in two steps: deep cleansing, peeling, pore extraction and serum infusion. It clears away stubborn make-up, excess dead skin cells and the darkening and plugs in your pores, leading to clearer-looking skin. It has a refreshing feel that conventional chemical peels do not, and people tend to come back for more once they have tried it.
Using a stream of water containing active ingredients greatly reduces the risk of dryness and irritation. It also uses a machine approved by the US Food and Drug Administration, which makes it reassuringly safe. A special tip gently removes excess sebum and dead skin cells and washes out dirt from deep in the pores. It suits every skin type, whether dry, oily or acne-prone, and needs no downtime. You can wear make-up immediately afterwards.
It became a talking point in overseas media and among Hollywood celebrities, and since arriving in Japan the number of models and entertainers using it has grown rapidly. It is a popular peel treatment with a large following.

What makes HydraFacial different

A patented design that detoxifies the skin from the surface to deep in the pores
HydraFacial combines resurfacing, peeling, cleansing, moisturising and serum infusion in a single session. A patented spiral tip creates a vortex of water that cleans deep into the pores, clearing away pore darkening and plugs. While the skin is bathed in solution, unwanted surface cells and built-up dirt are gently lifted away. The tip's unique shape then suctions off the loosened sebum and dirt along with the pore debris, leading to strikingly clear, smooth, fine-textured skin.

A serum peel that is gentle on the skin while still delivering results

HydraFacial's greatest strength is its soft peel, in which a solution rich in active ingredients is pressed against the skin. Because the skin is moisturised and softened by the serum before peeling, strain on the skin is kept to a minimum and the dryness peels often cause is avoided. The active ingredients then sink readily into skin and pores that have been thoroughly cleared. Alongside the usual peel effect, you also get moisturising, greater firmness and a brightening effect.

What is TargetCool?

TargetCool is a treatment in which cold CO2 gas is jetted at high speed onto the skin, turning the solution into fine ice particles that are driven into it.

Because it uses no needles there is little pain or downtime, and active ingredients can be delivered with less strain on the skin. The cooling also has a calming effect, and it can be combined with a range of other aesthetic treatments.

Redness and swelling Mild redness and swelling can occur after treatment, but these usually settle within a few hours to a day.
Make-up Possible from the same day, but refrain for three to four hours after treatment.
Washing your face and showering Possible from the same day. Do not rub the treated area.
Downtime Almost none, though redness, swelling, itching and irritation can occur.
Side effects and risks Redness, swelling, itching, blistering, allergy and discomfort from the cooling can occur.


 


Important notes

  • For three to four hours after treatment, take care not to rub the treated area or expose it to strong UV.
  • On the day of treatment, avoid long baths, the sauna, strenuous exercise and excessive alcohol.
  • After treatment, moisturise and protect against UV thoroughly.
  • If you have severe sunburn, skin inflammation, a wound or an infection, we may decline the treatment.
  • If you are allergic to any ingredient in the solution used, always tell us beforehand.
  • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or being treated for a condition, consult the doctor beforehand.
  • Depending on your skin's condition and the doctor's judgement, the treatment may be changed or declined.

      Returns, Refunds and Cancellation Policy

      [ Validity period ]
      Valid for 90 days from the date you apply. Please note that after 90 days the discount under this plan is no longer valid and can no longer be used.

      [ Refunds and returns ]
      Once you have applied for this plan, we cannot in principle accept a refund or return for customer reasons, except where the law requires it. However, if the doctor decides at your consultation not to issue a prescription, we will refund the full amount you paid. Even before the medical consultation, we cannot accept a cancellation or refund of a Luxora Pass for customer reasons.

      [ Cancellation after ordering ]
      We do not accept cancellations, returns or refunds for customer reasons once an order is complete.
      We cannot accept a cancellation, return or refund for reasons such as "I no longer need it", "I ordered it by mistake" or "it is different from the image", so please check the product details carefully before you order.

      [ Subscription plans with a minimum number of deliveries ] For subscription plans with a minimum number of deliveries, such as "2 deliveries required", you cannot cancel part-way through, return the product or receive a refund until payment for the stated number of deliveries is complete.
