What is Dermapen 4?

Sixteen ultra-fine needles, each 0.20 mm across, vibrate about 120 times a second to create 1,920 microscopic channels in the skin; the treatment then uses the body's wound-healing response to renew the skin. During healing, a range of growth factors is released and fibroblasts become more active, increasing collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid to build firmness and elasticity and leave the skin smooth. Applying active ingredients while those microscopic channels are open also means they absorb faster and more efficiently. The needle depth can be adjusted from 0.2 to 3.0 mm, so it can be varied to suit each area of skin, improving results and reducing strain.

Treatment time

The treatment takes about 90 minutes, including the anaesthetic.

Anaesthetic A topical anaesthetic cream is mainly used.
Swelling and scarring Redness can be pronounced right after the treatment, but this too settles within one to two weeks.
Swelling also settles within a few days to a week.
Pain
Because anaesthetic cream is applied beforehand, it is not unbearably painful; you feel a slight prickling and some warmth.
How often Several sessions three to four weeks apart are recommended. How many you need depends on your skin and your goal, but three to five is typical.

Important notes

    • For 12 hours after the treatment, avoid washing your face, make-up and sunscreen.

      Returns, Refunds and Cancellation Policy

      [ Validity period ]
      Valid for 90 days from the date you apply. Please note that after 90 days the discount under this plan is no longer valid and can no longer be used.

      [ Refunds and returns ]
      Once you have applied for this plan, we cannot in principle accept a refund or return for customer reasons, except where the law requires it. However, if the doctor decides at your consultation not to issue a prescription, we will refund the full amount you paid. Even before the medical consultation, we cannot accept a cancellation or refund of a Luxora Pass for customer reasons.

      [ Cancellation after ordering ]
      We do not accept cancellations, returns or refunds for customer reasons once an order is complete.
      We cannot accept a cancellation, return or refund for reasons such as "I no longer need it", "I ordered it by mistake" or "it is different from the image", so please check the product details carefully before you order.

      [ Subscription plans with a minimum number of deliveries ] For subscription plans with a minimum number of deliveries, such as "2 deliveries required", you cannot cancel part-way through, return the product or receive a refund until payment for the stated number of deliveries is complete. The obligation to pay for the minimum number of deliveries also arises if you do not accept the product, or if the product is returned to us because delivery was refused or you were away for a long period. The charge for the second delivery arises under the terms of your contract even if you have not received the first. Example: a plan requiring 2 deliveries

      • 1st delivery: no returns, refunds or cancellation
      • 2nd delivery: the charge arises regardless of whether you received the first delivery; no returns, refunds or cancellation
      • After payment for the stated number of deliveries (2) is complete: you can cancel from the next shipment onwards

      Once payment for the minimum number of deliveries (2) is complete, you can cancel the subscription from the next delivery onwards by completing the procedure before the stated deadline for your next scheduled payment date.
