What is HIFU?

HIFU stands for High Intensity Focused Ultrasound. Applied in a continuous series, it is used to treat sagging and to slim the face.
Because it reaches the deep layer of the skin (the SMAS) to generate collagen, lifting the skin from within and improving sagging, it is known as a facelift without a scalpel. It can also treat the subcutaneous fat layer, slimming the face and improving a double chin by reducing fat.

Treatment time

The treatment takes about 30 to 50 minutes.

* Additional time is needed for the consultation and explanation.
Anaesthetic The treatment is painless, so no anaesthetic is used.
Swelling and scarring These usually settle on their own within one to three days。
Side effects and risks If the heat reaches a nerve, there is a risk of numbness or reduced sensation in the face. This usually resolves on its own within a few weeks to a few months.
How often We recommend repeating the treatment every three to four months.
Make-up You can wear make-up from the day of treatment.
Washing your face / showering / bathing Shower only on the day; you can bathe from the following day.
  • Redness, flushing, swelling and a dull ache like muscle soreness can last from a few hours to about a week.
  • Burns and temporary nerve damage (numbness) occur rarely; if they persist,seek medical attention promptly.

  • Our clinic is by appointment only. If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, we may shorten your treatment or be unable to carry it out at all, in which case it is treated as one treatment used.
  • For same-day cancellations, what you booked and purchased (treatment, medication, and so on) is treated as used. Changing the time on the day incurs a change fee of ¥3,300 (tax included), and only if a slot is available.

Returns, Refunds and Cancellation Policy

[ Validity period ]
Valid for 90 days from the date you apply. Please note that after 90 days the discount under this plan is no longer valid and can no longer be used.

[ Refunds and returns ]
Once you have applied for this plan, we cannot in principle accept a refund or return for customer reasons, except where the law requires it. However, if the doctor decides at your consultation not to issue a prescription, we will refund the full amount you paid. Even before the medical consultation, we cannot accept a cancellation or refund of a Luxora Pass for customer reasons.

[ Cancellation after ordering ]
We do not accept cancellations, returns or refunds for customer reasons once an order is complete.
We cannot accept a cancellation, return or refund for reasons such as "I no longer need it", "I ordered it by mistake" or "it is different from the image", so please check the product details carefully before you order.

[ Subscription plans with a minimum number of deliveries ] For subscription plans with a minimum number of deliveries, such as "2 deliveries required", you cannot cancel part-way through, return the product or receive a refund until payment for the stated number of deliveries is complete. The obligation to pay for the minimum number of deliveries also arises if you do not accept the product, or if the product is returned to us because delivery was refused or you were away for a long period. The charge for the second delivery arises under the terms of your contract even if you have not received the first. Example: a plan requiring 2 deliveries

  • 1st delivery: no returns, refunds or cancellation
  • 2nd delivery: the charge arises regardless of whether you received the first delivery; no returns, refunds or cancellation
  • After payment for the stated number of deliveries (2) is complete: you can cancel from the next shipment onwards

Once payment for the minimum number of deliveries (2) is complete, you can cancel the subscription from the next delivery onwards by completing the procedure before the stated deadline for your next scheduled payment date.
