[HIV (human immunodeficiency virus)]

HIV is a virus that infects CD4-positive T cells, which carry out immune function. In the early stages there are often no symptoms, and it can progress for several years to more than ten without any appearing. Detected early and treated properly, you can continue to live close to a normal life. It is transmitted mainly through sexual contact, blood, and from mother to child.

[Syphilis]

Syphilis is a sexually transmitted infection caused by the bacterium Treponema pallidum, and case numbers in Japan have risen sharply in recent years.
