Stop using it immediately. Hydroquinone can easily cause redness and irritation. If irritation occurs, consult your doctor rather than deciding for yourself.

Do not use the product if it has discoloured (turned brown).
Discolouration can make it more irritating and worsen symptoms. Storing it in a cool, dark place and using it up promptly is recommended.
